Upload main image here:  Ian Poulter´s probably the closest to what my costume for the Christmas party looked like.       | We had our Christmas do a couple of weeks ago – we went away for the weekend and all the lads turned up. We had a really good laugh, especially on the Sunday when we had a fancy dress day. The theme was sportsmen and I went as a golfer. I had on all the gear, dodgy socks, a hat and gloves. It wasn’t too bad. There were a number of American footballers, a couple of boxers and a few wearing karate outfits. There was a couple of dodgy ones and a couple of lads didn’t make a big effort, but I´m not naming names. Sorry! Not many of the young lads came, if you were under 18 you couldn’t go. We didn’t do a secret Santa this year, we normally do but we haven’t really got round to it yet… This year we haven’t got a match until the 3rd of January, so I might go out on New Years Eve this year. We´ll be training on New Year´s Day though, so it´ll have to be a quiet one – maybe a nice meal or something.  I went as a golfer. I had on all the gear, dodgy socks, a hat and gloves I can´t believe it´s almost 2009 actually. This year´s gone by so quick. I´ve been having a think about what I´d like the New Year to bring and really I just want to keep on playing, wherever it should be. If it´s at Crystal Palace, it´s at Crystal Palace, if it´s somewhere else, then so be it. If I am at Crystal Palace I´d love us to have a good run and get automatic promotion or at least get into the top play-off spots. That would be ideal.
